Think Tank and Belief Tank

The think tank and belief tank is all part of learning Ron’s new language called Think Talk. If you hire Ron as your next speaker he will explain to you in very simple terms what you need to do to become successful in all areas of your life. Ron believes nothing is impossible to those who learn how to believe in themselves.

Actions speak louder than words

Ron’s philosophy is never teach anyone how to do something you cant do yourself. Ron is living proof that his Think Talk way of thinking and speaking does work. As an amateur speaker he has used his think talk language to win over 30 Toastmasters speaking competitions.

A former representative rugby player and top New Zealand sheep shearer Ron in his later years was the first man over 60 years of age in the world to row 100,000 metres in a single day on an indoor rowing machine.

World Rowing Record Holder.

The World Record Certificate is just another one of Ron’s many certificates and medals he has won as both a speaker and indoor rower. Without Think Talk none of his achievements would have been possible.

The Certificate.

World Record Certificate.

Winning medals from Toastmasters competitions.

Rons Brag Case.

55 masters games medals includes 2 New Zealand Records. 1 million, 5 million and a 10 million metre certificates plus the world record certificate.

As a toastmaster for 16 years Ron has won over100 certificates and trophies as a speaker.

Tutoring people.

U R What You Think U R.

There is nothing fancy about Ron’s presentation as a speaker. He would much prefer to use the old fashion flip charts to get his point across rather some fancy use of modern technology.

Think Talk

“Changing Lives for Good”

June 3, 2008

Governments ignorance is killing thousands of innocent New Zealanders.

Filed under: Think Talk — @ 1:49 am

A bold statement but to understand the meaning of this headline you first need a quick lesson on human behavior.
God gave humans a brain different to any other creature on earth and that is the ability to create things using part of the brain called the imagination.
The human mind sees things in pictures not words. Every word is turned into a picture and the body acts according to the picture held in the mind.
For example you can make people sick just by telling them they look sick. Doctors can make people well just by giving them a pill made of sugar and water.

One of my goals is to stop people from saying the words not bad because the mental picture of the word bad is what makes them feel bad.

Mind Pictures make us act
The mind will always make the body act on the most dominating word in the sentence. For example words like don’t wont or not have a negative effect on how we act.
You may say to Johnny, don’t spill the milk and Johnny will spill the milk because all his mind heard was spill the milk.
What you should say is hold your glass steady Johnny

If you say don’t run on the road and Johnny, he will always run on the road.
What you should say is stay inside the gate Johnny.
When Johnny grows up you say don’t smoke cigarettes the words Johnny hears is smoke cigarettes.  So he smokes cigarettes
When he looks at the packet of cigarettes the words say cigarettes are addictive so he becomes addicted. The words on the packet say smoking cause cancer and the pictures show him getting cancer so he gets cancer.

Negative Images
Johnny watches  the film “Once were Warriors”  it shows him how to give his wife a beating how to get drunk, leave home, live under a bridge and how to fight in a pub brawl. Everyone says it is a wonderful movie so he starts acting like the star in the movie.
In the meantime he continues to play fighting and shooting games on his play station and when he drives his car the pictures on the television show him how to get drunk and how to crash his car.
He starts behaving badly, the police take his car and sell it, he finishes up in jail and everyone says it his parents fault.

Ignorance
What I’m saying in this article is that unfortunately the people who design this negative advertising have never studied human behavior as to why people act the way they act.
They believe that if they instill enough fear into people their actions will change but what they dont realise is that fear is actually a motivator. People love to challenge that which they fear and the more dangerous and the more illegal it is the more they want to do it.

We could stop many of our problems in society by bringing in a reward system. Instead of getting fines for bad behaviour imagine what it would be like getting a cheque in the mail for good behaviour.

Summary
We act according to the pictures programmed into our brain and the brain cannot tell the difference between that which is imagined and that which is real. If will power and the imagination have to compete the imagination will win every time.
If you feed negative information into the human brain such car crashes, violence, drunkenness, cancer ect on a regular bases sooner or later that person will act according to what has been programmed into their brain

All the advertising that the government does is negative images and its these negative images that are causing thousands of people to die.
This is not the first time I have written about this subject  but my words always fall on deaf ears with governments and the newsmedia because they know that even though thousands of lives would be saved if they stopped the negative advertising it would also put thousands of people out of a job.
