Think Tank and Belief Tank

The think tank and belief tank is all part of learning Ron’s new language called Think Talk. If you hire Ron as your next speaker he will explain to you in very simple terms what you need to do to become successful in all areas of your life. Ron believes nothing is impossible to those who learn how to believe in themselves.

Actions speak louder than words

Ron’s philosophy is never teach anyone how to do something you cant do yourself. Ron is living proof that his Think Talk way of thinking and speaking does work. As an amateur speaker he has used his think talk language to win over 30 Toastmasters speaking competitions.

A former representative rugby player and top New Zealand sheep shearer Ron in his later years was the first man over 60 years of age in the world to row 100,000 metres in a single day on an indoor rowing machine.

World Rowing Record Holder.

The World Record Certificate is just another one of Ron’s many certificates and medals he has won as both a speaker and indoor rower. Without Think Talk none of his achievements would have been possible.

The Certificate.

World Record Certificate.

Winning medals from Toastmasters competitions.

Rons Brag Case.

55 masters games medals includes 2 New Zealand Records. 1 million, 5 million and a 10 million metre certificates plus the world record certificate.

As a toastmaster for 16 years Ron has won over100 certificates and trophies as a speaker.

Tutoring people.

U R What You Think U R.

There is nothing fancy about Ron’s presentation as a speaker. He would much prefer to use the old fashion flip charts to get his point across rather some fancy use of modern technology.

Think Talk

“Changing Lives for Good”

May 23, 2008

It’s all my Fault

Filed under: Think Talk — @ 12:26 am

This Wednesday will be my third attempt to get 25 people into a room so that I can share with them my new self development program that has the potential to save many lives and help people reach their true potential.

Unfortunately I get the feeling that this is not going to happen because of my aggressive attitude. I have not always been this aggressive its only since I have been reprogramming my brain to be more positive that has changed my approach to life. One of the side effects of my brain reprogramming program is that I feel so happy all the time and when I tell people I feel fantastic they get a bit scared of me and can’t understand why I’m not like ordinary people who always describe themselves as being not bad.

I have organized about 17 meetings and seminars in the last year and the most I have ever had attend any of them is 3 people.

Mind you its my own fault.
I stood for mayor of Timaru against a good looking blonde middle age female. When I first announced I was going stand for mayor against her I made a stupid statement by saying I would make a better Mayor than her because I am a man and she is women. I didn’t stop there I declared that their were too many women in politics and other leadership roles when many should be at home doing the housework and looking after the kids. I got abused by both men and women for being so outspoken.
No man in New Zealand has the right to say those things about women in 2008 . I have since learnt that to succeed in politics you must learn to say what people want to hear and not what you think.
I spent 3 months campaigning and hired halls all around the Timaru district but no one turned up to my meetings. One man opened the hall for me and then went home while another man bought me some scones his wife had baked and then went home and left my by myself in an empty hall eating the scones. It all my fault.

Not wanted
The Pareora Country Club kicked me out of their club even though I donated a bucket of paint for the hall and some meat for their raffles.
The Performance Training Gym kicked me out of their gym because they said I was rude and arrogant and I could not understand how it took them 9 years to discover that.
A Timaru policewomen served the trespass notice on me just after 9 o’clock last Tuesday night. I was sound asleep in bed and did not hear the door bell so she knocked on the lounge window and just about caused my wife to have a heart attack. It was all my fault because if I was not so rude and arrogant the police women would not had to serve me a trespass notice late at night from a gym that I had been a member of for 9 years.

What about the poor policemen
I once raised some money for victim support at one of my quit smoking seminars. After the seminar I asked victim support if they could use the money to pay the fines of the local policemen who were caught speeding getting Helen Clark to a rugby match.
It was a stupid idea and victim support had every right to ask me not to raise any more money for them and it is fair that they should keep the little money I did raise. It was a good guesture that the members of parliament paid the policemens fines and then the police got let off from their crimes as well. Police should not be fined anyway they are the law.

Publicity
It was pleased to have the opportunity to speak on the Oamaru television and radio stations last week and tell people about Think Talk and what it could for the lives of people. I must of said the wrong thing again because no one turned up to the seminar.
An elderly gentlemen told me he felt scared to walk down the streets of Timaru on case he got mugged. When I invited him to a family seminar
he said he was a rotary club member and rotary would not be interested in my campaign to fight violence.
He did however suggest that I spend more money on my promotional material. He is right I should spend more money on protecting him from harm in his old age and if no one turns up to my stupid seminar on Wednesday night then once again it will be all my fault.
